Horse Trials New Brunswick is a nonprofit organization established to promote and foster the equestrian sport of Eventing in New Brunswick in conjunction with the New Brunswick Equestrian Association. HTNB works towards the goals of Equestrian Canada and Canadian Eventing.

Misson Statement:

Our mission is to remove barriers to participation and create a clear pathway for progress and success for horses and riders through all levels of the sport. We strive to foster entry into the sport while supporting lifelong participation, increase safety and enjoyment by building competence, and promote volunteering, education, and horse welfare.

Goals:

Develop:
• Human and equine athletes with skill, confidence, and resilience
• Certified instructors who are competent, safe, and effective on the cross-country course
• High-quality facilities that support training and the hosting of eventing competitions
• A cohesive community of volunteers, athletes, coaches, and supporters

Reduce Barriers by:
• Supporting transportation to camps, clinics, and competitions
• Increasing visibility and access to qualified coaches
• Addressing fears and anxieties through proper coaching and psychological support
• Expanding education and funding opportunities
• Ensuring facilities remain accessible and conducive to progression
